I'm watching Courage the Cowardly Dog with my nephew and it is a great example of nonverbal communication! The the elderly couple is in danger and Courage is trying to tell them, but he can't talk so he acts out what is happening. The elderly couple doesn't understand what he is trying to say, but Courage trys anyways!

  1. I used to love that show! I agree courage does fantastic with displaying nonverbal communication. He likes to flail his arms all around aswell as making very extravagant facial expressions.

  2. Ha! What a great example of nonverbal communication. It doesn't matter if it is a cartoon dog like Courage or an actual dog; animals are excellent communicators when it comes to nonverbal communication. We just need to be willing receivers.
