At work a couple of days ago, I overheard an aid explain to a resident about being how she was upset because of something the resident said. The resident told another resident that the aid had a man voice. When the aid confronted the resident, the resident used the "I didn't do it" statement. She told the aid, "I didn't say that, I said you have a deep voice." A lot of people say "I didn't do it" when they really did. I think it is easier to say you did it and solve the problem, instead of lying about it and causing a bigger problem.

  1. I agree that its easier to just confess if you did something. It makes it easier to help solve the problem.

  2. A great reflection and application of excuses being used in the real world. They are everywhere!
