At work a couple of days ago, I overheard an aid explain to a resident about being how she was upset because of something the resident said. The resident told another resident that the aid had a man voice. When the aid confronted the resident, the resident used the "I didn't do it" statement. She told the aid, "I didn't say that, I said you have a deep voice." A lot of people say "I didn't do it" when they really did. I think it is easier to say you did it and solve the problem, instead of lying about it and causing a bigger problem.

I'm watching Courage the Cowardly Dog with my nephew and it is a great example of nonverbal communication! The the elderly couple is in danger and Courage is trying to tell them, but he can't talk so he acts out what is happening. The elderly couple doesn't understand what he is trying to say, but Courage trys anyways!

I like the Mr. Bean videos we watch in class! They are a perfect example of nonverbal communication. It teaches people how well communication can be understood without even using words! Mr. Bean gave clear visual on what he was saying nonverbally and I think everyone knew what he meant. He was also funny and entertaining so it was very interesting to watch!

The color video we watched in class was farely true about how colors make people feel. I agree with most of the colors that the lady described. Different colors make people feel certain ways. For example, wearing blue can make someone feel calm or happy. Blue is a very relaxed color. On the opposite hand, people may think of red when they think of angry. I like wearing black sweatshirts because it doesnt make me feel like i'm standing out and i'm just blending in. Other people may disagree, but everyone has their own opinion on colors!
